Independence Day Contests 2024
There are many ways for Audubon residents to join in the spirit of Independence Day - and to possibly win a trophy as well! Registration links appear at the bottom of this page.
Winners will be announced on our website on July 4th. Trophies will be presented during the evening fireworks event at Audubon High School on July 6th. Trophies will be delivered to winners not able to attend.
Parade ContestS
General Categories
Trophies will be awarded to groups or individuals in the following categories based on the best overall originality, creativity, and appearance of decorations relating to the parade theme. Entrants/floats can be comprised of one-person, a single household, or any combination of friends and family. One adult participant 18 years or older must accompany every entry. Everyone who registers to participate in the Parade will automatically be entered for trophies. Register here to be in the parade.

Baby Parade
Children 3 and under are invited to participate with an adult or guardian. Participants have the option to walk the entire route or join the group at Edgewood Avenue and Chestnut Street. Line-up on East Princeton Road. Register here.
Bicycle Parade
All ages welcome! Helmets must be worn. Line-up on East Princeton Road. Register here.
First, second and third place trophies will be awarded to the best decorated houses in Audubon with a patriotic Independence Day theme. Judging will take place on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. athletic Contests
The Athletic Events will begin July 4th at 10:45am on the High School football field. There will be races and games for all ages (weather permitting). Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to winning participants. Thank you to Kelly Aceto and her volunteers who help make this event possible! No registration required!
